Gelato is a hybrid strain made by crossing Sunset Sherbet and Thin Mint Girl Scout Cookies. The effects of Gelato produce a euphoric high accompanied by strong feelings of relaxation. Consumers say the physical sensation comes on strong, but many find themselves still mentally agile enough to stay productive and creative during the day. Gelato gets its name from the fruity, dessert-like aroma it smells like. Novice consumers may want to approach this THC Powerhouse with caution, but those armed with a high THC tolerance will delight in the heavy-handed effects of this strain.
About this strain: Gelato
The cultivators parted ways following its creation, and the cultivator who possesses the most “stable version” of Gelato genetics is up for debate. Cookies cultivates a few phenotypes and descendants of the strain named Gelato #42, Dolce Gelato, and a sun-grown Gelato. Sherbinskis grows four stabilized Gelato phenotypes in its rotation as well: Gelato #41 (Bacio Gelato), Gelato #43 (Gello Gelato), Gelato #47 (Mochi Gelato), and Gelato #49 (Acai Berry Gelato). Per Sherbinskis, the #33 phenotype is no longer in cultivation.
King Louis is an indica strain made by crossing OG Kush with LA Confidential. The effects of King Louis are powerful, leaving users nostalgic with it’s unmistakable OG characteristics. This strain offers users a deep relaxation, lulling them into a deep sleep with a pleasant pressure behind the eyes. The body stone will come on quick and continue to escalate as time passes, offering a feeling of deep sedation.
About this strain: King Louie
The only thing for sure about this strain is its undisputed OG Kush heritage. Some think it’s an OG Kush and L.A. Confidential cross. Even the name depends on who you ask. It could be King Louie, King Louie XIII, or King Louis XIII, according to online sources. Regardless, its buds are large, sticky, and trichome-covered.
